Javado is one of the biggest Dutch exporters of pot plants, based at FloraHolland Naaldwijk. Javado wants to excel in supply chain management to deliver the highest customer service levels while maintaining a high quality.

Javado considers itself a front-runner in innovative logistics. That is why Javado joined the RFID field tests of Container Centralen and their partners. Based on the results of the field tests, Javado will decide how to continue with RFID.

Javado sees RFID technologies having benefits in multiple areas of their daily workflow. When product information is linked to the load carrier that is carrying the product, load carrier flows will become much more transparent and controllable: It becomes easier to break the bulk and combine the individual orders for each customer; less paper (barcode stickers) is needed as data is linked to the RFID signal; and manual scanning is no longer necessary.
