RFID tags – proven efficiency

In order to introduce a flawless RFID identification system, the group behind the project has already tested RFID tags and readers (“scanners”) in Denmark, Holland and Germany. The testing was done first as “lab tests”, and then in closed loops in real horticultural sector working environments.

RFID tags have already been implemented in other CC load carriers, such as the CC Euro Dolly (rolling ¼ pallets) with great success.

Implementation of RFID in the horticultural industry is done in co-operation with IBM as the main technology partner.
