The RFID system is powered by IBM
In the autumn of 2008, Container Centralen defined the RFID project in co-operation with IBM, and the two parties signed a contract in the early spring of 2009, involving the full implementation of RFID on all 3.5 million CC Containers in Europe by January 10, 2011.
